Father’s Day is actually quite different than Mother’s Day. From the gifts you give to the places you eat to the activities of the day, everything is just a little bit different–perhaps even a little more casual.

That’s why we offer dad’s favorites for takeout on Father’s Day; so you can take it and go wherever you’d like together! Here are a few ideas to spend quality time with  your dad on Father’s Day:

  • Take a trip down memory lane: After dinner, ask Dad to show you some of his old photos and mementos. Chances are you’ll learn something new about your father, and he’ll have a great time remembering times gone by.
  • Get your blood pumping: We hope the weather will hold out so that we can enjoy some time outside! From a walk in the park to a game of basketball to a kayak trip down the river, there’s no better bonding experience than outdoor activities together.
  • Learn something new: Maybe you search YouTube for a tutorial on building a picnic table. Maybe you sign up for  a foreign language class together. Or maybe you just learn how to make your family’s new favorite cocktail – no matter what it is, learn it together and you’ll never forget it!
  • Stick to the classics: Go mini-golfing. Let him take an afternoon nap. Buy him a tie. Hang out on the deck. Whatever you do, let him know how much you appreciate him!

Make sure Dad knows how much you love him by treating him to food to-go from Stanford Grill or Copper Canyon Grill, and the rest of the day will be amazing!
