Stanford Grill Rockville – Opening Monday!


We’ve never been so excited for a Monday to come.

That’s right, the day is finally here! Our brand new Rockville location is opening to the public this Monday and we can’t wait to share our new home with you. From Baterra Style Sushi to Bangers and Mash, you’ll find we’ve added some new items to our classic menu that we think you’ll love. Executive Chef Sean Kinoshita has been hard at work adding to our already extensive menu, so you’ll get to choose from Stanford Grill favorites while also trying brand new dishes and desserts.

Fall Favorites


Can you believe tomorrow marks the first day of Fall? As it always seems to do, summer has flown by and is slowly fading into Fall – even if the weather hasn’t seemed to notice!

The change in season always brings about new food cravings, and this one happens to be right up our alley: comfort food for Fall & Winter. As the temperatures drop and mornings come crisp, we tend to crave hot, flavorful, spiced dishes that come after being simmered, baked, or braised. From everyone’s favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte to our mouth-watering Tortilla Soup, we’re ready for the entrees of Autumn!


When it comes to comfort food, our Big Meatloaf Stack is a classic that we can’t get enough of. Our meatloaf is a combination of ground beef tenderloin, spicy pork sausage & mixed cheeses, which is slow-cooked and topped with fire roasted tomato-brown sauce. Served with mashed potatoes & green beans, this is a perfect dinner for a brisk Autumn evening!


Though we enjoy it all year long, there’s something about the new season that has us hankering for our Iron Skillet Cornbread. Maybe it’s the fact that it comes still warm in its skillet, or maybe it’s the butter that melts on contact, but we can’t start a Fall meal without it.


Of course, we can’t forget about dessert. Dig into our decadent bread pudding and wash it down with a hot mug of French Press coffee for an after-dinner treat that you will make forget about the cold weather entirely. Not to mention our seasonal cheesecake (hint hint, we have Pumpkin Harvest coming up next!) that is sure to please.

Though it was a great summer, we’re ready to welcome Fall with open arms. How about you?

Stanford Grill Rockville – Opening Soon!


The buzz around our new Stanford Grill Rockville location is getting louder, the excitement is growing, and we can’t wait to invite you in to see it for yourself!

The new location will feature all your Stanford Grill favorites, and more! From Chef Sean Kinoshita’s unique sushi creations to Head baker Christian Haug’s house-made bread & pastries, there will truly be something for everyone. Not to mention the two patios, large private room for all your events, and a lounge area for live jazz!
