Thanksgiving Ideas

Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than a week away? The holidays always sneak up on us, but we are so excited to kick off the season with a delicious Turkey dinner with all the fixings.

Our Home for the Holidays menu was handcrafted by our chefs with recipes from their childhoods. From the cornbread stuffing to the sweet glazed carrots, each recipe holds hints of the past with fresh ingredients and the flavors you expect from Copper Canyon & Stanford Grill.

Of course, we can’t forget the wine! A Pinot Noir goes wonderfully with a turkey dinner, though many choose to start off with a white or some bubbly during the prep time.

The holidays are right around the corner. Are you thinking about everything you have to do to get ready for it? Last minute home makeovers, the menu planning, the shopping, the cooking. Whew! All in the name of bringing family and friends together to celebrate gratitude…and eat some great food. Ever considered NOT doing all the cooking yourself? No guilt here; you’re not the only one.

Here’s a tip for you: COPPER CANYON GRILL! Its holiday menu has just been unveiled and it’s super-delicious! You can enjoy your holiday meal at the restaurant or order holiday menu items for pickup! (Shhhh! I won’t tell anyone). Rotisserie turkey (sooo juicy) and gravy, mashed potatoes, bacon mac ‘n cheese (OMG!!), maple-glazed carrots, sautéed green beans, cornbread stuffing, hot rolls…and the ‘piece de resistance’, pumpkin cheesecake! The restaurant’s chef takes great pride in offering this menu from his grandmother’s recipes. A culinary cornucopia of sumptuous delight. Why should others get all the good stuff? Copper Canyon Grill’s Silver Spring location will be open for your dining pleasure on Thanksgiving Day 11am-9pm; plus, the holiday menu items are available for pickup (2-day advance orders, please) now through January 1, 2016. We listened to you, and now we’re bringing it back: starting this week, the Soup Calendar returns to Copper Canyon Grill!

Each day of the week will feature it’s own Soup of the Day, with each one more delicious than the last. From Chicken Tortilla to Tomato Basil, these soups are back just in time for the colder days and cozy dinners!
