In just under a month, Stanford Grill in Rockville will host The Battle of the Bartenders! From 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, Stanford Grill and Copper Canyon Grill bartenders will go head-to-head in a cocktail showdown.
This bartender battle is bourbon-based, and each cocktail will be made with Old Forrester Bourbon. Prior to the day of the showdown, the top bartenders from each Stanford Grill and Copper Canyon Grill will be selected through a two-phase competition. The winners will compete against one another at Stanford Grill Rockville on Wednesday, April 26th.
Of course, the bartenders will be making their competition-winning drinks for YOU, and the drinks will be available at $5. Try a few, and then vote for your favorite!
The winning bartender will receive $200, a feature here in our weekly blog, and will receive bragging rights. The cocktail will also be featured in all Stanford Grill and Copper Canyon locations the entire month of May.

Brunch. It’s the meal that combines two things we love most: breakfast food, and not having to wake up in time for breakfast.
The only work required on your end is to roll out of bed, usually sometime between the hours of eleven and one, gather a few friends or family members, and arrive at your nearest Stanford Grill or Copper Canyon Grill. We’ll take care of the rest.
And luckily for you, we’ve just brought back by popular demand some of our most-loved brunch dishes.
We offer specialties like French toast with caramelized bananas, berries & Grand Marnier cream sauce, and crab Benedict with crabcakes served over a corn tamale.
And then there’s our triple stack pancakes drizzled with maple syrup, and, of course, chicken and waffles.
