Make Our Mashed Potatoes at Home

Our restaurants are known for their classic dishes made from scratch with fresh ingredients. We take pride in the ingredients we choose and how we prep our entire menu, from appetizers to sides and desserts. We love it when you pay us a visit and leave satisfied, happy, and craving more. Recently, we had a guest from out of the United States reach out raving about how good our mashed potatoes are. We couldn’t have been happier to receive such a compliment! So, we decided to share the recipe here for you to recreate at home, especially for any of you that are not in Maryland or Orlando, FL.

Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

• 2 Pounds Potatoes
• 1 Cup Sour Cream
• 1/4 Cup Green Onions
• 3 Tablespoons Butter
• Salt
• Black Pepper

Directions:

1. Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
2. Add the remaining ingredients; mash until smooth.
3. Serve topped with additional butter.

If you hadn’t heard the news, our family is growing! Next month, we’ll be opening the doors of our new sister restaurant, Stanford Kitchen, in Owings Mills, MD. This means that we are actively looking to hire optimistic, energetic, and service-oriented individuals to fill the various front of house and back of house positions available. The restaurant will be located at 10997 Owings Mills Blvd.

The Blueridge Group of restaurants have a casual-elegant atmosphere and offer fresh dishes made with seasonal ingredients and sourced from local vendors and farmers. Our main focus is on the quality of food and providing exceptional service. We want our guests to have an unforgettable dining experience when they visit us. This is where our poised, professional, and knowledgeable staff comes in.

We are currently hiring hostesses, servers, bartenders, line cooks, and prep cooks. One of the elements that make the ambiance in our restaurants so enjoyable is the live jazz band we invite nightly to join us. Many of our guests love coming over for dinner and staying a bit longer to enjoy the live music. It’s the perfect addition to a delicious meal!

You’ll find a Pianist and a Contrabassist playing for all of our guests to delight in while sipping on cocktails and tasting our homemade dishes. April is also Jazz Appreciation Month, making it the perfect excuse to make plans with friends and family to join us for dinner sometime this month.
