We believe that the perfect way to bid adieu to the season of longer days under the sun is with a refreshing cocktail that will make you reminisce of all the fun you had these past three months. The team at Copper Canyon Grill Orlando knows a thing or two about fun under the sun, so they shared their favorite summery cocktail to order at the bar this weekend or make at home for friends and family.
The Hendrick’s Summer Mule, described as “an amazing summer cocktail and favorite gin-based drink of all time”, is what you’ll see us sipping this weekend. It is a light, refreshing drink that highlights the floral qualities of Hendrick’s gin and provides you with some recognizable flavors such as mint, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and ginger. It makes for a great patio cocktail (maybe by a fire come the fall!). Now for the recipe…
Hendrick’s Summer Mule
1 ½ oz Hendrick’s Gin
½ oz St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
½ oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
8 large mint leaves torn in thirds
In a shaker, add a medium scoop of ice (enough to fill a rocks glass) and add all ingredients. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and pour contents into a rocks glass. Top with a splash of ginger beer and garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig. Cheers!
