#NYE with Stanford Kitchen


The last few weeks of the year are rushing past us—and the big finale is almost here. New Year’s Eve is getting closer and closer… and is it just us or did it get here way too fast this time around?

Wrapping up the year is stressful enough, so let us take care of every detail of the big night. Stanford Kitchen is planning New Year’s Eve, so you can spend time and energy on your loved ones.


Is New Year’s your night for a distinctive three-course meal and wine with friends? Or just a quiet table for two? Start with our Crab Cake Salad—blue crab dressed with fresh grapefruit and champagne vinaigrette—and classic House Salad, with Adobe dressing, goat cheese, spiced pecans, and cornbread croutons over a bed of crisp greens and veggies.

The big night calls for a special dinner—try our Wood-Fired Rotisserie Chicken, super-slow-roasted and served with mashed potatoes and green beans, or our signature Barbeque Pork Ribs, cooked patiently so it’s falling off the bone, with a side of French fries and rich, tangy coleslaw. Our Seared Ahi Tuna is topped with aromatic ponzu; our ten-ounce Prime Rib is served with a smear of horseradish sauce; and our nine-ounce Grilled Filet Mignon is drizzled with Cabernet sauce.

Accompany or end your meal with one of our hand-selected wines, whether you’re in the mood for a glass of our light, fresh Fleur de Mer rosé or a La Crema Pinot Noir from California’s Sonoma Coast. Or stick with the classics, like a flute of Vueve Cliquot—it is New Year’s Eve, after all!

Gather the family and friends for a relaxed evening of catching up, reconnecting, and toasting the future over an unforgettable meal—join us at Stanford Grill on New Year’s Eve.

Make a toast to everyone at the table and cherish these opportunities to spend time together with a glass of something memorable—whether the crowd is more Domaine Ste. Michelle, Rosé or Grgich Hills’ “Fume Blanc,” Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Or maybe New Year’s is more of a cocktail kind of evening for your crowd: our fruit-and-flower-infused Mandarin Blossom, Elite Margarita, or Peartini will brighten up any winter evening.



Get the party started with our Fiesta Eggrolls, Chicken Meatballs, Tower of Onion Rings, and Spinach Artichoke Dip for the table. The main course should be as special as the occasion: make your last meal of the year our Danish Barbecue Pork Ribs, Hardwood Grilled Salmon served with our house-made Chef’s dressing and fresh, herby tabbouleh salad, Lamb Shank drizzled with our balsamic and red wine sauce, or Hickory Grilled Filet with our Cabernet sauce. Order a Lobster or Bacon Mac & Cheese for the table, too 🙂

No meal is complete without dessert, and tonight calls for something distinguished. Our classic Ice Cream Sundae, rich, light Key Lime Pie, or warm, comforting Bread Pudding is a taste of indulgence to wrap up the big night.

The big night calls for a special toast to start the evening off right and keep everyone in celebration mode: our extensive wine lists boasts everything from outstanding sparkling wine and champagnes, like Napa Valley’s Mumm Napa Brut Prestige and Laluca Prosecco, to crisp white wines, such as Columbia Valley’s Château Ste. Michelle Riesling, to Belle Glos’s “Clark & Telephone” Pinot Noir from the Sante Maria Valley. Is everyone in the group more of a cocktail mood tonight? Our refined Fleur de Lis features Belvedere Vodka and Elderflower Liqueur, while our Hemingway’s Daiquiri is a throwback to summer with Bacardi Light Rum, maraschino cherry liquor, fresh lime and grapefruit juices, and simple syrup.


Get dinner started right by ordering for the table: our Coca Cola Ribs, Tuna Sashimi, Fiesta Eggrolls, and Spinach Artichoke Dip get the party started on the first course. Our Wood Grilled Steak Salad, Shrimp & Grits, Prime Rib, Warm Beet Wedge salad, Fresh Fish of the Day, and classic “Stanford” Cheeseburger keep the party going! The Thanksgiving season is a special time to connect with family and loved ones and take the time to sit around the table. We’re excited to carve out some time with friends too, before the family rush takes over. We want to hear about your favorite memories of getting together at Stanford Kitchen this year. It’s no secret that Thanksgiving is all about the sides. We’re offering up everything from our fresh Seasonal Vegetables to creamy Orzo Rice and Mashed Potatoes, deliciously addictive French Fries, tart and herby Tabbouleh, and our famously irresistible Bacon, Mac & Cheese. Get an order (or two) for the table!
You’ll probably be getting enough servings of turkey on the big day, so Friendsgiving is your chance to try something new and exciting on this casual get-together, like our Barbeque Pork Ribs, served with french fries and coleslaw; or our Crab Cake Salad, Grilled Filet Mignon and Seasonal Vegetables, or Wild Mushroom Meatloaf. Any special diets to keep in mind in the group? We’ve got everyone covered with delicious alternatives like our Veggie Burger or Chopped Veggie Salad, so everyone can relax and enjoy each other’s company.
