Uno, dos, tres… Tequila! This festive spirit is celebrated this Monday, July 24th. We suggest grabbing a couple of friends and starting the celebration early during our Friday happy hour. You can also join us on Monday to brighten your week with a celebratory tequila cocktail. However, if you prefer to have the party at home, we are happy to share with you a tequila cocktail recipe for you to mix, shake, serve, share, and enjoy. Make way for our Añejo Smash!
This refreshing tequila cocktail will surely put a smile on your face. If you want to make your festivities more traditional, you can delight everyone with our Elite Margarita, too. We love having you over at the bar and preparing tasty cocktails for you and your friends, but we also love sharing our recipes for you to have a piece of us at home. But, let’s skip to the fun part… the Añejo Smash’s recipe!
1 1/2 oz. Milagro Anejo Tequila
1/2 oz. Gran Marnier
1 oz. Agave Nectar
1/2 Lemon, Squeezed
4 Sprigs of Mint
Muddle Mint in a rocks glass. Mix tequila, Gran Marnier, agave syrup and 1/2 a lemon squeezed in a shaker tin and shake. Serve in a rocks glass. Cheers!

It was a close competition, but the winner of our #WorldBartenderDay Battle of the Bartenders is Summer from Copper Canyon Grill Silver Spring! Summer mixed up a refreshing and beautiful tequila cocktail called the Ancho Average Anejo to wow the crowd & take home the prize. Didn’t make it to the battle? Summer’s winning cocktail will be featured at all locations for the month of March, so come on by!

Ancho Average Anejo:
1 & 1/4 oz Milagro Anejo Tequila
1/4 oz Blood Orange Liqueur
3/4 oz Ancho Chile Liqueur
Half an orange, squeezed
1 dash orange bitters
1/4 oz Agave nectar
Shake & strain into glass. Salt rim with orange peel for garnish. Enjoy!
The Battle of the Bartenders is here! The Stanford Grill bartenders have challenged the Copper Canyon Grill bartenders to a battle for the best tequila cocktail and you’re invited to see the showdown!
What better day to start the battle than on World Bartender Day? It’s all going down on February 24th at 6:30pm at Stanford Grill Rockville in the bar. With $5 drinks, free appetizers, and a bonus $10 loaded on all Woodfire Club member cards, it’s going to be a great time! Whether you’re a loyal Copper Canyon fan or you swear by the Stanford Grill bartenders, everybody wins at The Battle of the Bartenders.

What are you doing New Year’s Eve?
Ring in the new year with us at our Copper Canyon Grill Silver Spring location! We are celebrating New Year’s Eve with extended hours until 1 am, a champagne toast at midnight, drink specials, and our famous New Year’s menu! All other locations will be open with normal hours, so you can join us for drinks and dinner before the festivities as well.
New year, more points! In honor of the New Year, we are also celebrating with Double Point Days for all of our Woodfire Club members – just visit any of our locations on 12/31/15 & 1/1/16 and receive double points towards your purchases!
