We listened to your feedback and are here to deliver! We’ve officially introduced our all-new Stanford Grill-Rockville lunch menu!

We understand that lunch needs to be quick and easy, without sacrificing quality or flavor. Our new menu provides all of this- all the while maintaining the Stanford Grill level of excellence in which we pride ourselves.

The menu features a wide variety of options that promise a quick turnaround and something to satisfy every palette. From flatbreads, to pastas, to ramen- we have something for everyone. We cannot wait for you to start exploring the options.

We’re extremely excited about this new selection. Our chefs have been hard at work creating dishes that will ensure that lunch will soon become your favorite meal of the day! And rest assured, we’ve also incorporated some can’t-miss cocktails, for the days where you just want that little extra kick.

These flavors tie together seamlessly and will be sure to leave your entire party satisfied. We can’t wait for you to try it. And if you need any extra convincing, just check out how delicious these plates look!

Sushi Night- One Night Only!

Have you had a chance to attend one of our signature sushi nights? Our talented chefs over at Stanford Grill Rockville curated special menus to showcase their culinary skills with mouth-watering sushi creations.

Executive chefs Anthony Peake and Jerome Sharpe have created something truly special— and we’re so happy to have the opportunity to bring their work to different restaurants throughout October!

Happy National Chocolate Pudding Day to all the chocolate lovers out there! Take a moment to enjoy and digest the photo below of our INFAMOUS Chocolate Uprising Dessert!

This dessert  (click the link to imagine this as you read) is a must when looking for a sweet ending and sweet comfort to your meal! and of course, chocolate will keep you happy, full, and relaxed. Guests who have experienced our Chocolate Uprising are raving about it online reviews that it is “the best dessert I’ve ever had”.

Now time to describe this dessert: just imagine 1) a split chocolate warm brownie 2) sandwiched with a thick layer of vanilla ice cream 3) topped with a generous amount of whipped cream 4) drizzled with warm caramel sauce. How good does this sound to you? It’s a dessert that can be shared between two people or even 5 just to get a palette cleanser. Slice and share. There’s always enough for the whole table.

Rotisserie Chicken Salad:  the most interesting ingredient in this salad is the jicama, it’s a root vegetable that adds a crunchy sensation to the salad along with other delicious ingredients including corn, black beans, and tomatoes.

Steak Salad: Hearty and satisfying with all the greens you need! This salad also includes Pears! Did you know that “the majority of pears sold in the United States are grown on the west coast, mainly Oregon and Washington.”? So they’re locally sourced here! The pears add just the right amount of sweetness to the salad in addition to a crunch.

Seared Ahi Tuna Salad:  Our most colorful salad, the secret addition to this salad is the thinly sliced mangoes. It adds the perfect amount of sweetness without using any sugars. Have you ever tried tuna and mango? It takes you to the beachside in 1 bite.

Let’s start with THE burger. Also known as, “The Stanford” Cheeseburger. Close your eyes and imagine this: Hardwood grilled Angus beef topped with Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, bread and butter pickles, mustard and mayonnaise on a toasted sesame seed bun. You can have it all, take off the bun or even share it with a friend. The best part is, you can now have it outside on the patio.

If you are looking for a healthier option, go for our salads. Shown in the photo is our special Rotisserie Chicken Salad, with mixed greens, black beans, tomato, jicama, corn, Monterey jack, chipotle-bleu dressing, avocado, tortilla strips & BBQ sauce. How good does that sound for a ‘basic’ salad?

We also have other salad options such as our Thai Filet Noodle Salad, Steak Salad etc. You can always remove the protein to make it vegan or vegetarian.

To All the Moms, Happy Mother’s Day!

Mom. Mother. Mum. Mama. Matriarch. Whatever you call her, she’s the woman that gave birth to you, believed in you, and raised you to be who you are today. We wholeheartedly believe in showing our moms how much we love them every single day, but we certainly won’t say no to taking an entire day to celebrate recognize all the mothers and mother figures in our lives. This Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 12th – treat her to a delicious meal at one of our restaurants.

The weather is getting warmer, our patios are open and it’s time to soak in all the sunny days. As the weather gets nicer, salads and healthy options start getting popular so here’s a breakdown of our options in our 3 restaurants!

At Copper Canyon Grill, we have our infamous Rotisserie Chicken Salad, Wood Grilled Steak Salad,  Thai Filet Noodle Salad, Seared Ahi Tuna Salad, Crab Cake Salad and more depending on each location. We can add extra ingredients and take our ingredients to satisfy any dietary restrictions.

We’ve got options for vegetarians, too, like our colorful Veggie Platter. We also accommodate to all vegetarians with delicious veggie-based options such as, veggie burgers, and salads that can be ordered without meat. We also have a gluten-free menu, made for all our health cautious and gluten-free customers.

Stanford Grill also offers an array of different salads and healthy options. Such as our Club Salad, Bravo Salad and more. All our salads have ingredients to make them hearty, delicious and filling. At our newest restaurant Stanford Kitchen, our menu is similar to both Copper Canyon Grill and Stanford Grill. One of our most popular salads is shown above, the Club Salad with Crispy chicken, mixed greens, avocado, tomato, Smokehouse bacon, mixed Jack and cheddar cheese, cornbread croutons, and honey chipotle dressing. We can also make this vegetarian! A must try that has no animal protein is our Wild Mushroom Meatloaf which is served with a Portobello Madeira wine sauce.

Countdown to Patio season!

The first day of spring can’t come fast enough—the season of polar vortexes, snow storms, and below-freezing temperatures seems to get longer and longer as it goes on. We’re celebrating the new season by opening the doors to our dining patios at all of our locations!

Starting March 20, the Gaithersburg, Glenarden, Silver Spring, and Orlando locations of Copper Canyon Grill now invite guests to take in their meal in the open air of our patios. Enjoy the fresh air, clear skies, blooming flowers, sprouting trees, and unfiltered sunshine of the new spring and take a real lunch break or refreshing brunch. Or have a quiet dinner surrounded by our twinkling lights and the crisp breeze of evening.

The warmer days call for a lighter palate, so now is the time to switch it up and indulge in something a fresher during the day, like our Rotisserie Chicken Salad or Fresh Fish of the Day. Our Seasonal Vegetable Platter and Veggie Burger make for great warm-weather snacks; a warm Saturday morning calls for a round of fresh Bloody Marys and Spinach & Mushroom Omelettes (and maybe a stack of Banana Nut Pancakes for the table!); while a balmy sunset calls for a pair of Cucumber Gimlets of Peartinis, ordered with a scoop of seasonal ice cream or sorbet or French Fries. It’s all served better outside!

Certified green!

Gaithersburg is known for its stunning lakes and lush forests and parks, so it’s no surprise that being environmentally conscious comes through in our daily routines. So we’re proud to announce that the Green Restaurant Association has certified Copper Canyon Grill as a green restaurant!

The GRA upholds rigorous standards for environmental sustainability in terms of a business’s water efficiency, efforts to reduce waste and recycle, energy usage, and reduction in chemical pollution, among other points. Culled from the past 25 years of research, with input from over 40 independent government, environmental, and science organizations. For our dining room, that might mean that any chair or fixture made from salvaged wood is accounted for in GreenPoints; coffee filters and rechargeable batteries are used in their environmentally preferable forms; our HVAC systems and exhaust fans run on cleaner energy, more efficiently; our toaster is running at an optimal energy rate; offer at least one vegetarian entree; or reducing paper or ink cartridge usage in our offices. It’s evident in the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables we use in our kitchen for everything from indulgent cocktails on Saturday nights to crisp, refreshing salads at lunch.

We look forward to pushing our score even higher in the year ahead!
