Our new menu items are all our Copper Canyon twists on our favorite American classics. Crisp Chicken & Waffles are awaiting your arrival. Hand buttermilk battered fried chicken breast served with homemade waffles, topped with whipped cream and fresh berries, who could resist?
One of our most flavorful additions, our Seafood Marinara. Handcrafted with the freshest seafood in Maryland, this is a must try when you stop by Copper Canyon in Silver Spring. Sauteed shrimp and scallops in a light marinara with penne pasta make this dish truly unique to our menu.
Savory and soaked in a rich marinara, our new Italian Meatballs make the perfect addition to any evening out with us. Served with crisp bread and enough to go around the whole table. You won’t regret ordering the Italian Meatballs as a starter!
Crispy Pork Shank has joined our menu and quickly become a crowd favorite here! Braised and deep fried, served with collard greens and redskin mashed potatoes. We finish it off with our house made pork gravy. Stop by our Silver Springs location to give our new menu a try!
Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday, it’s a day centered on home cooked American classics, what’s not to love? Our Thanksgiving Packages offer a simple solution to a days of cooking in the kitchen with our scratch-made sides, turkey or rotisserie chicken and famous desserts.
Once you’ve picked up your package, make sure that you know how to iImpress your guests with a perfectly cooked meal next Thursday. Follow our simple reheating instructions to make sure the holiday goes off without a hitch.
If possible, take all items that you are going to reheat out of your fridge 1 hour in advance, so they can come to room temperature before you heat them up. This will aid in the even reheating of your meal and avoid over cooking or burning of the outer layers while the middle is still cold.
The Turkey* or Chickens*-
Heat Turkey or Chickens in a preheated 350° oven using a tightly covered foil roasting pan until desired temperature is achieved. This will vary depending on your oven and the size of your turkey or chickens. Check after 15 minutes, less for very small orders. The idea is to gently steam and just heat up the turkey or chicken in the jus, and not cook it further, so be careful not to overdo it or let the pan dry out. If the pan jus starts dry up simply add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pan.
Reheat, covered, in a preheated 350° oven until desired temperature, about 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of your order. Check after 10 minutes.
Place your potatoes in a microwave safe container and cover tightly with a lid or plastic wrap. Start with 5 minutes, with a 5 minute rest time before checking the potatoes to see if they are hot. Microwave an additional 1-2 minutes at a time, with a couple of minute rest time between each microwave. Repeat this, if necessary, until hot. You can do this slowly over a period of time while you’re preparing the rest of your dinner. Potatoes will stay hot for quite a while if tightly covered.
Heat in a saucepan on stovetop over low heat, stirring often until desired temperature is achieved. Gravy can also be microwaved in an appropriate container until hot, about 3-4 minutes per pint, stirring at least once through the reheating process.
Green Beans*, Carrots* and Mac & Cheese*-
Preheat your oven to 350°. Place item to be heated in the preheated oven and cook until hot, longer for the Mac & cheese (about 20-30 minutes) and less time for the green beans/carrots (15-25 minutes)
Place in a preheated 350° oven and cook until warm throughout. About 20 minutes from room temperature.
Serve at room temperature.*The Florida Department of Health recommends heating until the internal temperature reaches 165°.
